About American Legion Post #4 in Billings, MT

Established in Billings to Serve Veterans and Families

When you walk into American Legion Post #4, you become part of a legacy that began in 1919. For over a century, we have stood as a gathering place for veterans, families, and community members across Billings, Montana. Our charter became effective on September 3, 1919, and we've been honoring service and building community ever since.

We are guided by the Four Pillars enshrined in The American Legion Constitution: Americanism, Children & Youth, Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, and National Security. These pillars shape everything we do, from supporting veterans in navigating their benefits to mentoring youth through Boys State, Boy Scouts, and American Legion Baseball.

You'll find that service does not end with military duty here—it continues through community involvement, leadership, and a commitment to those who served and the families who stood beside them.
